You can send faxes directly from the ICTPBX portal by uploading a PDF and specifying the recipient’s fax number. FreeSWITCH handles the T.38/G.711 transmission and the portal tracks the status in real time – no separate fax software needed.

Sending a Fax

  1. Go to Fax › Send Fax
  2. Enter the recipient’s fax number
  3. Optionally select a cover page template (if you’ve set up cover pages)
  4. Upload your PDF document
  5. Click Send Fax

Tracking Transmission Status

After submitting, the fax appears in your outbound fax log with a real-time status indicator:

  • Queued – waiting to be sent
  • Sending – transmission in progress
  • Sent – delivered successfully
  • Failed – transmission failed (FreeSWITCH will retry based on your fax settings)
Fax transmission uses credits from your account balance. Each page counts toward your monthly fax quota. Check your quota at Billing & Usage.
