Realtime Channel Monitor

Super AdminTenant Admin

The Realtime Monitor gives you a live view of active calls and registered phones, refreshed every 5 seconds. You can see who’s on a call and take control actions without touching the CLI.

Viewing Active Calls

Go to PBX › Realtime. Counters at the top show the number of active channels and registrations. The Active Channels table shows each call with:

  • Direction
  • Caller ID
  • Destination
  • State and Call State
  • Codec
  • IP

The Registrations table lists the phones that are registered right now, with User, Realm, Network IP, User Agent and Status.

Live Call Control

Each active channel has these actions:

  • Hangup – end the call immediately
  • Hold/Unhold – put the call on hold, or take it off hold
  • Transfer – blind transfer to another extension or number
Live call control uses FreeSWITCH ESL (Event Socket Layer) commands under the hood, so you don’t need server access.
If you manage a call center, keep the Realtime Monitor open in a separate browser tab during business hours so you can spot stuck or abandoned calls quickly.

Click to Call

  1. In the Click to Call box, enter the From extension and the number to call
  2. Your extension rings first
  3. When you answer, ICTPBX dials the number

The From extension has to be registered, otherwise the request is refused. You can do the same through the API with POST /api/call/originate and the fields from_ext and to_number.
