Conference Rooms

Conference rooms allow multiple parties to join a shared audio call simultaneously.

Adding a Conference Room

  1. Go to PBX → Conferences
  2. Click Add Conference
  3. Set the extension, PIN, and moderator options

Settings

Field Description
Name Label (e.g. “Board Room”)
Extension Dial this number to join
PIN Participant PIN (leave blank for open)
Moderator PIN PIN for the conference moderator
Max Members Maximum simultaneous participants
Record Enable recording of the conference
Wait for Moderator Hold participants until moderator joins

Joining a Conference

  1. Dial the conference extension from any registered phone
  2. Enter the PIN when prompted
  3. You will be joined to the conference bridge

Moderator Controls

The moderator can:

  • Mute/unmute all participants
  • Lock the conference (prevent new joins)
  • End the conference for all participants
