IVR Menus

An IVR (Interactive Voice Response) menu plays a greeting and routes callers based on key presses.

Adding an IVR Menu

  1. Go to PBX → IVR Menus
  2. Click Add IVR Menu
  3. Set the greeting, timeout, and add options

IVR Settings

Field Description
Name Label for this IVR (e.g. “Main Menu”)
Extension Number that routes to this IVR
Greeting Audio file played when caller enters the IVR
Timeout Seconds to wait for a key press
Exit Action Where to route if caller doesn’t press anything
Invalid Action Where to route on unrecognized key press
Max Failures Number of invalid attempts before exiting

Menu Options

Each option maps a key press (09, *, #) to a destination:

2 Ring Group
3 Another IVR
0 Operator (extension)

Example: Main Menu

"Thank you for calling ACME Corp.
Press 1 for Sales.
Press 2 for Support.
Press 0 for the operator."
