Voicemail

Each extension can have a voicemail box. Callers are sent to voicemail when the extension doesn’t answer within the timeout period.

Configuring Voicemail

Voicemail is enabled per-extension in the Extensions form. You can also manage voicemail boxes directly:

  1. Go to PBX → Voicemail
  2. Click Add Voicemail or edit an existing one

Settings

Field Description
Extension The extension this voicemail belongs to
Password PIN to check messages (4–6 digits)
Email Email address to receive voicemail notifications
Attach Recording Send the audio file as an email attachment
Greeting Recorded or default greeting message

Checking Voicemail

Dial *97 from your extension to check your own voicemail.
Dial *98 to check voicemail for another extension (you’ll be prompted for the extension and PIN).

Email Notifications

When Email is set, the caller’s message is sent as an attachment to that address immediately after recording.
