Super AdminTenant Admin

An announcement is a banner at the top of the ICTPBX portal. Use it for maintenance windows, feature updates or operational alerts.

Creating an Announcement

  1. Go to Administration › Announcement. Super Admins can do this, and so can Tenant Admins for their own organisation.
  2. Enter a Title and a Message
  3. Click Submit
The announcement shows as a banner at the top of the portal. Users can close it and bring it back with the Alert button. There’s no scheduling or targeting, so when you want it gone, replace the message or clear it.

Use Cases

  • Planned maintenance: “The system will be unavailable on Saturday from 2-4am for scheduled maintenance”
  • Feature launches: “New WebRTC softphone is now available – click the phone icon in the header”
  • Billing reminders: “Your subscription renews on June 1st”
  • Notices for your own organisation, posted by its Tenant Admin
